I first began to play bass guitar in 1998 and have since progressed my education through the form of music. I come from a family of musicians, in which both my father and grandfather played bass. After finishing at school I went to college to do music full time, and after getting a BTEC diploma in Music Technology I moved on to study for BA(Hons) Degree in Commercial Music. I recently graduated from Bath Spa University with a BAHons Degree in Commercial Music.

As well as all the playing, I decided to write and publish my own transcription books. I was always interested in notating scores of bass lines I would hear on records so I decided to pursue a Jamiroquai publication in 2004. I'm a big fan of Jamiroquai (especially the SZ days) and always wondered why there were never any books available whilst the bass is so damn funkay! So I wrote and published my own.
